Well, thanks to a long conversation I need to have with you about my love affair with the Department of Homeland Security, a cruise is out. We can't guarantee Miss P will have a passport by next summer (yes, that would be the summer of 2010... have I mentioned how much I love the Department of Homeland Security???). Although the regulations at the moment would allow Miss P in and out of the country via water, the regulations could change. Or, if they don't, it would be just our luck to have some sort of emergency back home, need to fly into the U.S., and not be able to bring Miss P with us. Actually, that might be a really good way to get her a passport... I wonder which DoHS office needs a two year old? Hmmm...
I promise to tell you the whole story about the passport/certificate of citizenship/social security number disaster, but I'm getting ready to leave for Vegas tomorrow. This is just a quick update for those of you wondering about our 2010vacation destination.
